If you are in search of Holland you do not need to travel further than the Netherlands to come across it. As free spirited as ever there was, Holland opens its doors for all who wish to come and visit knowing full well that once you arrive and get a taste of their hospitality you will probably not want to leave. As with many European countries today Holland accepts the Euro as its currency and you can change your foreign currency at most banks and post offices. Holland is well known for its free acceptance when it comes to drug use but be advised that in no uncertain terms, drugs are illegal.

With so much to see and do in Holland the biggest problem you will have is time, however making time to see Madurodam is a must as this will give you a view of Holland at its smallest. See all the important stuff of Holland come alive as these miniature replicas of all of Hollands finest attractions including the famous Delta works are displayed for you. Witness boats floating in the port and on the canals, windmills turning and planes landing at the airport. Bring you camera because you wouldn’t believe your eyes.

A great section of Holland is controlled by canals and waterways so if you really want to get a great view of the port of Rotterdam get yourself booked on the 600 passenger “Abel Tasman” and see it up close. Don’t even think of leaving Holland without paying a visit to Amsterdam where you can visit the 350 year old Royal Palace which was originally built to be the city hall. When in Amsterdam stop by the De Pijp where you could very well run in to someone you know. Holland is a great place to visit and one you will never forget.
