Skip Amsterdam. No, seriously. It’s long been hailed as a bastion of crazy culture and that’s exactly what you’ll find here. So unless your dying to experience the wild side of Holland, Move on.
Head to the Tulips. One of the greatest sights in all of Holland are the fields of tulips that grow in the most rural areas. There are tulip maps available online but make sure you plan your trip at the time of year when they’ll be blooming. You will be blown away.
Try Some Beer. Okay, so herring may not be your fish of choice but Holland has some really, really good beer. Head to a local pub, chat with the locals and get a pint – something cold, large and foamy.
