Holland has a very interesting culture with it’s Dutch influence. However, with the more uninhibited nature of other places in the Netherlands like Amsterdam, there are some very different qualities.

For example, in the culture of Holland, it is much more lay back. In fact, very few women go outside of the house and work a 9-5 job like in most cities or major places. Dinners are much more formal with manners and proper etiquette being a mainstay in their evening engagement. A lot of the Dutch are deeply pious with denominations in 30 Roman Catholic, 20 protestant and 10 other denominations. However, 40 do no have any religious ties, which brings about the interesting characteristics in other parts of the Netherlands.

They have a more formal and punctual way of doing things. When it comes to business, people are on time and manners are at an all time high. Some of the major industries that Holland is known for includes: different man made products, construction, and other kinds of machinery. They also have a huge stake in more agricultural types of industries like livestock, fruits, potatoes, and more. Make sure to keep in close contact with your business partners.
